3 year old Romanian boy, Milo, spent most of his life behind bars.

He has a very calm, gentle manner and loves fuss. A bit nervous and needs lots of training but he's been very good so far.

It's been 8 years since that saddest of days when the last of my previous 2 rescues was put to sleep. I'll never forget them and can still almost feel their lovely soft ears. Welling up now!

We're looking forward to sharing our travels with Milo. There's nothing much in our motorhoming lifestyle that won't be improved by having a doggy.

Seriously? Buy another sofa (wink - phone doesn't do smilies)

One of mine wrecked carpets, shoes, toys and many other items. But they gave so much love and joy that I'll take that trade-off any day.

View attachment 97312 Ahhh, he's lovely. Have a lovely life together.

We have a Rommie, as well as two terrorists (terriers). Our Rommie is finally settling down but it's been a bit of a "journey"
She is adorable though...
Faith never fails to charm with her up and down ears........

Well done - and am I right in thinking it really is a rescue dog from Romania? I ventured only as far as north Devon for our Charlie. :)

The tea towel over the glass oven door is to stop him barking at his refection. Idiot dog. :)

We meet a few Romanian rescue dogs on our local beaches. Mine are both Greek Cypriot, so quite an international crowd!

Milo has fallen on his feet meeting you and he'll repay you over and over. Have fun together.

PS. Holly was in a very traumatised state when I found her 3 weeks before we left Cyprus. Unfit to fly, she had to go into kennels for 2 months, then make 2 flights and a 5 hour drive. Couple of days at home and she's never looked back. They recover given time and lots of hugs.

Milo looks a lovely dog, I sure you will have many happy years together. Our two dogs are both rescues as was our last one, a Jack Russel who was with us for nearly 17 years. My Daughter has just taken on a rescue dog too, they all deserve a good home

@DBK yes he travelled 2 weeks ago on a Romanian pet passport.

Kennelled with UK Romanian Dog Rescue who are about an hour from us in Surrey.

@Hollyberry he's quite chilled but easily spooked. We've nicknamed him Ghost Dog because he's spent most of his time on a rug by the window out of sight! We hardly know he's here.

@reckless.....Well done you for giving Milo a new home, beautiful dog. (y)

Been to Romania many times and love the country, BUT.....I hate to see the way dogs are mistreated there and left to roam the streets, It's appalling to say the least.
