started when I was 11 with my parents-forgot to stop!been real one since 1980!
Some time ago the source was Woolies, who are no more.
Anyone have any idea where these can now be bought cheaply? I have seen some in marine shops for up to £12!
Any advice such as Wilkinsons Etc. would be gratefuly received.

Hi
Ive never seen a collapsible bucket but if your looking to carry water you can buy water carriers that are palstic. Once empty it just folds up. Ive seen them used on a few camp sites and they look ok. You can get them from discover

We've had a collapsible bucket for donkey's years, we originally bought it when we went camping with the motorbike. I believe that it came from a camping shop.

They often have them in Poundland and other £1 shops. I've also seen them in a few caravan dealers shops for about £1.20.
They're very handy for taking your stuff to the showers, carrying your wine and glasses to OPs awnings, filling with water to put cut flowers in, and lots of other things.

You will find these at fishing tackle shops. Made from canvas they are light but not totally waterproof, :whatthe: I use one for washing the van when away from home. :thumb:

another good source is ex army shops.

I love ex army gear, always the best quality, but sadly proper army surplus shops are getting hard to find.. many only stock cheap imported Chinese stuff ..

In the 60s I used to buy all sorts of ex army uniform, mostly from WW2, American army jackets, RAF great coats , Japanese officers jackets but I drew the line at ex Nazi uniforms :roflmto::roflmto:

There is a great one in Southend on Sea and another in Maidstone.. now living in Colchester, which has an Army garrison, you would think there would be plenty .. not a one

You can find them on the stalls at motorhome shows. Can’t remember how much though.

They are for sale in our local 'Poundland'. Look to be around a gallon in size, and are made of what seems to be high quality silicon rubber. There is a range which includes a folding collander, and folding bowls. Worth far more than they cost!.
