cold tap on shower (1 Viewer)

Has anyone got a kontiki ?i have bought a 1991talbot swift kontiki 620/6 and i have a problem ?

if i turn the cold tap on the shower to the left water comes out the shower,if i turn the tap off to the right the shower stops and the pump stops,if i turn it a little more to the right the pump starts running again? as all the taps are shut why does it still run?and is it pumping water anywhere else ,hope somerone can help please

Had one of these yonks ago and recall the water system is not pressurised and works by microswitches on each tap. Sounds like you have a duff microswitch. They are replaceable, and if yours is like mine was (similar year) the taps were bog standard Whale ones as sold in all good accessory shops. If you don't fancy the fiddle of replacing the microswitches then simpler to replace the whole tap (though more expensive)
