Traveling along the Mosel, can somebody recomend a camping/parking with easy bike ride to Cocham.
    Thanks in advance.

Over 2nd bridge north from town center and turn left. Fist left of the next roundabout. Come to shops (Aldi) and drive down behind them on the right hand side and fallow road along river till you get to the gate.

Ernst, just south of Cochem. An easy 3 or 4 mile ride to Cochem

There's two together. Bakery, butchers and a wine producer all within 50 metres.

This is an ACSI site we used, and it was good, easy walk into town. But we did notice vans parked on opposite riverbank, don't know if it was a Stellplatz or just wilding, maybe worth a look.
As an aside, we were allowed to take our then 8 month old puppy on the guided tour of Cochem castle, I was cr**ping myself all the time in case she cr**ped on the carpets. She didn't. Phew!!

We parked up on side of river near police station and road bridge over the river. However probably need to get there earlier in day. Marked up for MH parking.

Some park on the wast land behind Aldi what is next to the camp sight. I dare say they could just walk in and use the campsite loo as no one seems to check or challenge anyone. Im going back this September for a night with my dog.

Is this on the town side of the river but walking down towards the train station? There was a lot of vans parked up overnight last year when i was there.

It is the town side of river, almost under the road bridge only a short distance from town centre. Train line a bit further back from river I think.
