Hi there, just wondering if anyone has replace the clutch on the 669, if so can it be done with gearbox removd only, or do you have to lift out the full engine out? has any one got ideas or tips.
My clutch is starting to slip in 5th and 6th gear after 13, 000 miles...
Is it a main dealer job..?

Any help would be appreicated

    still doesnt help !

what make is the base vehicle.....Fiat, Peugeot etc

whatever it is, any reputable independent garage will be able to change the clutch at a far cheaper price than a main dealer.

Hi Foxy. where abouts are you? I have a garage near to me that would undertake this type of work, reasonable rates and proper mechanics of the old school era. :thumb:

Well we are in Cheshire and the garage is in Kidsgove which is in Stoke on Trent. Have you tried Geo? he is much closer to you in Chesterfield another old school mechanic, well old any way :Rofl1: he advertises on here and comes highly reccomended.
Maybe send him a PM and ask him, not sure how big his command center is :thumb:

Foxey...if you,re near Hull try Ian Walton Motors near Burstwick. He works on my 6 metre Ducato no problem. Small team, low overheads.
