Would be grateful if any funster could recommend a CL/CS in the Bridgewater/Taunton area which is rv friendly. EHU and loo essential, shower would be good but we can easily manage without. We're looking to stay somewhere nice and quiet for four weeks in October on our way to Lemonford, Newton Abbot (anyone else going there?) for the winter season.

Hi Jan - We too love a quiet CL/CS preferably in a beautiful area, so would like to recommend the following campsite Link Removed which is also a CS and is listed as such in the CCC big sites book - although slightly out of your chosen area, you might like to consider it.

We spent a wonderful quiet time there last Christmas ... Abbey Farm is in the Somerset Moors and Levels so a beautiful area with great sunsets. Langport is not far away for a bit of shopping.

The owner Brian is an RVer himself so understands RV requirements, there was even Bulk propane available ! He's also a really great guy and made us so very welcome  we would certainly visit again :thumb:

I must enter Abbey Farm in the campsites review section

Many thanks Julia for the details of Abbey Farm, looks lovely and just our sort of place. Not out of the way either, we've got all the time in the world! Thanks
Jan
