Citroen C25 Sump plug (1 Viewer)

Anyone know what bit fits the sump plug on a Citroen C25? I've tried an 8mm hex which turns without gripping and a 9mm doesn't fit. Is it a special tool? I'm hoping the previous owner has not just knackered it.

I had one years ago and if memory serves correct I think it is a special size, seem to remember it fitted in a socket drive, not just for C25 but a standard fitting available from tool shops, for sump plugs.

Hi , Desco is correct.

you need an 8mm Square sump plug key, from any motor shop.. if the square hole has been rounded use a 23mm socket. If the hex has been mutilated you may have to resort to mole grips or a pipe wrench.
