I'm new
Hello all,
I am searching for gift ideas for my inlaws. They own a large motorhome (can't remember the name please don't shoot me ::bigsmile: ) and they have recently retired so plan to tour Europe a lot more in the future.
I was looking at sat navs but reviews are not good. Any ideas of what we could get that would be useful? Accessories? Luxury items?
Any replies gratefully received as I no nothing about motorhomes

You need to check out what they have first, no point in getting something they already have but a Fun membership would be ideal.

Thanks to you all for the replies so far, all really great ideas. It's my husbands parents, so budget depends on him and his brothers, they could club together or we could get something ourselves. Anything up to £100 I would guess.

As you say, they are my inlaws and there is a recession on ::bigsmile:

The special tyre gauges Jim does are well worthwhile and are not something that can be bought in the shops.

Dependent where they live you could also get them a gift voucher.

I am sure Johns Cross and a few other companies on here such as roadpro would give you a voucher they could use. If they attend the motorhome shows, both Roadpro and Johns Cross are often present.

Another option is to by them a weekend at a campsite. I am sure lots of us could recommend a great getaway if you listed their likes and dislikes

Hope this has been helpful

How about a Cadac ? It is a cooker used outside the van.. Very versatile and very popular with motorhomers

Lots of types but only two basic ones.

This is a table top one called the Safari

Or perhaps a water filter ?

The Nature Pure is an easy fit kit ( but maybe outside the budget )

I consider myself as a water filter as it definitely does not come out as it goes in so I would recommend a iPod and fill it with AC/DC, Maiden, Purple but certainly not Napalm Death as we would not want to lower the tone of the campsite lol, hope this helps:thumb::thumb::thumb:

If the family are all contributing you might consider a Remoska cooker look it up at Lakeland they are absolutely fabulous providing you are on a hookup.
Failing that how about Camping Card ACSI membership brilliant!:thumb:

That actually is an excellent idea, I do offer gift vouchers on the website, only drawback is that they will definately know how much you think they are worth,:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

you just phone us for one and we list it.

Other suggestions are here.. http://www.johnscross.co.uk/categories/christmas-gifts.html
