Travelling around some of the Christmas markets in Europe. One place recommended was the caves in Valkenburger, Holland. The town is lovely but the caves were a great disappointment to me. There are several to visit and they charge around 11e to visit. But they are nothing more than an oversized Santa's grotto with more tat than craft. I know some may still find a certain magic but left me cold sadly. Cologne is worth a trip though especially the one outside the Lindt (chocolate) centre....
