Jane who wanted this recipe at Thetford. Anyway here it is and I'll bring some to Malvern.

    Base
    50g (1 3/4 oz) dark brown sugar
    100g (7oz) Icing sugar
    50g (1 3/4oz) soft butter
200g (7oz) smooth peanut butter (regular jar)

    Topping
    200g (7oz) milk chocolate
    100g (3 1/2 oz) dark chocolate

Mix together all the base ingredients by hand, mixer, in bowl or whatever. Roll little balls and push into sweet cases.

Melt the topping very gently and enough over each base to cover.

Let them cool, scoff and get fat.

I'm sure they're delicious, but we'll have to give them a miss, as I have an adverse reaction to chocolate and Shirley has a nut allergy

    Thanks Ivy,
one question thou, for the topping do you mix the milk and dark together, or individually and make some milk topped and some dark topped?

To be honest, I just use milk choc and they're fine. I'm not a great one for sticking to recipes.
