Hi does anyone know if you can park overnight in chester i know you used to be able to but now not to sure cheers Rod:thumb:

Hi Rod, yes you can park overnight in Chester just been past there a couple of hours ago and their is some one parked up now.

Just go to the Roudee Car Park,if you are coming in off the A55 over the river and turn Right just at the zebra crossing. If you come to the big new Hotel and Crown courts you have gone to far, just go around the island and back past the crown court and you will come back to the Roudee Car park.

There you will see the car park below. it is £1.50 for overnight and normal car park charges in the day, just a five minute walk and you are in the centerer of Chester.

After 6 O'Clock you will be able to get on to one of the long bays by the River nice and flat. The toilets open in the morning and there is a water tap there as well.

No length restrictions. The big coaches park here. The car park name is Little Roodee

We stayed at the cc site chester oaks a couple of times last year and each time we where there the pub just next door had a couple of mh in their carpark i think it was called the hungry horse.
