Been looking at the sat nav's on eBay priced at about £30 to £40 pounds. Has anybody bought and tried any of these. As they are so cheap is it worth a punt?

There are a few posts on here regarding the lack of updated maps etc and on particular the truck files. I use one as do many others and have found my.
Chinese say nav better than the basic tom tom I was able to add my poi files which I can use on the day nav very easily. for the price they are worth trying out

I have one too. Now and then it freezes but we'll worth the money.

It's good yes but for some reason won't have you do a u turn. Prefers to send you an extra 19 miles in my case if you go past destination.

Well I take that as positive with just a few reservations. I'll buy one and try it myself. Cheers.

If its,the xgody you will need to check if the motorhome dimension files are present..i have one of these and to be honest it will get you from a to b.eventually. I could not really get on with it . I am now using an Aguri after trialling it since April .so far not put a foot wrong . .it almost mirrors my snooper in performance but at half the price. But I still prefer the snoopers display.

@irnbru if you look at the vehicle settings where you put in the vehicle dimensions, length etc. right at the bottom there is a field that says "disable u turns on all roads" if this is ticked it will not tell you to turn around, but reroute you.

i dont have that option either @lunarman , but i do have all the truck files for the sat nav, if anyone needs them
I do... Mine are still 2014 and updating from the site doesn't touch them...

I was planning to buy one of the 5 inch ones for the car... tempting..
