High All, been looking at the various ferry sites but only seem to be getting more and more confused!:whatthe:
Has anyone researched the cheapest crossing from the West of England to Northern Spain? Thinking about October this year for a month or more.
Cheers

I tried to book LD Lines from Poole to Santander last night for 20th/21st September, was quoted £225 for economy crossing but could not complete the booking, it kept skipping the payment page and when I completed the final page it just repeated itself. I emailed them but have yet to receive a reply. I have now booked with Brittany ferries leaving Portsmouth to Santander on 21st September for £319 including £10 overnight seat (only me traveling so didn't need a 2/4 person berth). Seems busier this year and there was a post on MHF earlier this week regarding this. Hope this helps.

We travel back Santander-Poole with LD on 11 May. A 7 metre van with 3 metre trailer, including cabin for 2 at £391. I cannot even think of driving up to Calais from Benidorm and getting a channel crossing for anywhere near that sort of money.

As I understand it LD lines only quote for crossings under 6 months from time of booking. I'm crossing on April 13 and will post what I think of the service. Finally doe's anyone know if you can overnight on the dock at poole or nearby.

Yup, £5 a night at the ferry terminal. Includes water, toilet drop and proper showers etc if you want them.

We stayed there in January when going to Gijon with LD

Enjoy :thumb:

Sounds a good price - is it the new Brittany Ferries 'Economie' service?

Hi Mike

Yes it is, I wasn't even aware that they offered an economy service until yesterday :thumb:
