I was just looking into getting a new mobile broadband deal for home use (kicking our landline into touch) and found the below ... I can confirm that it is a very good 4G MIFI (twin aerial with external aerial connection) as I already have one and it worked perfectly abroad and at home.

It costs £9.99 plus a one month rolling contract, the cheapest of which is £15, so that's £24.99 if you ring up and give the 30 day notice straight away to cancel the contract (it will still work for the first month) - this thread on HotUKDeals discusses it:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/huawei-5773-4g-mifi-9-99-currys-2518503

Then if you want a stonking '3' monthly broadband contract sign up for the one which is on offer at the moment giving 20gb of data for the cost of 5gb, so you get:
  • 20gb data
  • 12 month contract
  • £13 a month ... yes that's right £13!!!!
  • It can be used abroad as part of the 'feel at home' arrangement
  • free 4G if available, otherwise 3G (assuming your equipment will receive 4G)
This is the link to the sim offer and although it refers to a phone ignore that as it's definitely a broadband one:

http://store.three.co.uk/view/searchSimOnly?tariff=205821200

We've just done a contract for it and the chap on the phone (in Scotland) has confirmed that it is a 'flash deal' moment and is due to finish shortly so grab it while you can!

We have ditched our Kingston Comms landline and taken a 12 month Three contract MiFi 20gb p/m for £15 plus £19 upfront for Huawei MiFi like yours. Working out a lot cheaper. KCOM was costing us £37 p/m for 45gb, of which we only used half MAX,because we were away in the MoHo or out of the country most of the time, so this is working well for us. Hope it does for you.

Btw do you use the HiLink Huawei app. Have installed it on all our devices but can't get it to share files between devices via the MiFi unit ??.

Thanks for keeping us all up to speed on the latest THREE deals!
Cheers Chris

@Minxy Girl the hot deals comments saying you sign up for a contract and if you cancel the MIFI must be returned?

I noticed that but then there are comments by others who haven't had this so I think it depends on which type of sim deal you go for and what you try to do regarding cancelling it - if you take out a longer one, eg a pay monthly 12 month one it will probably apply, so you really need to go for the basic one-month rolling contract as they can't make you keep it for longer than that initial month (so long as you give the requisite 30 days' notice). I also suspect it's probably down to some people trying to cancel the contract completely, ie don't pay even for one month, just the £9.99 for the MIFI.

STOP PRESS

I've found out about something else that's only available in a '3' store: a Huawei B310 router and a '3' 12 month contract for 40gb costing £20 a month - as the router is 12v I'm going this morning to check it out and also see if the 40gb sim contract is included in 'feel at home' - if so it would be an even better deal for us, and maybe others too. I'll put my findings on the below thread:

http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum...-broadband-deal-be-quick.141019/#post-2075743

I will report back later.

I went on the Three website and put cancel into the search box and there was a choice between on-line chat (which wasn't working) or a phone number. When I dialled the number displayed I got a recorded message saying the number wasn't in use any more and was given a different number to ring. This puts you through to a far off call centre and they sorted out the cancellation.
