The large un-opening front roof light Has a black painted band around the edges where the rooflight perspex meets the UPVC roof, nothing is leaking but whatever this coating is?, it has started to deteriorate and washes off when you clean the M/Home. I would like to re coat it, any knowledge on what material/paint, Chausson used ??.
In the 2008 Allegro 94 model they changed the dinning table layout, to a smaller table with an 3" dia, support leg, offset, I would like to purchase the smaller table top (Mottle Brown) and support leg, to replace the existing table which we find much to large/heavy.
Under the M/Home, Chausson painted the plywood with some preservative/paint any idea,s what it is they used?, I wish to re-coat mine, before this winter.

You could use Waxoyl on the underneath, it goes on almost anything.

Have used this both on caravans,[wood floors] motorhomes [wood & metal floors]
with good results, seems to cover anything. Keep away from brakes.

Waxoyl Treatment,

Thanks Spacerunner & Desco,
A material I had not considered. Does Waxoyl actually dry out or remain tacky??, Can it be brushed on?.
Cheers Wall-E.
