hello this has probably been asked here before when I have my MH on 240v on my drive does this charge the leisure battery ???
would I be better fitting a trickle charger straight to the leisure battery and if so where do I need to plug the charger in ie in my MH or is this defeating the object or from my house.
cheers

A Woosh bang
Your van has a built in charger and provided it is switched ON, it charges the leisure battery when plugged into the mains.

Some vans also have a selector switch to select either 'leisure' or ' engine' battery charging..

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
Your built in charging system should charge batteries and then go into "trickle" mode. Look at the voltage across the battery when build in charger is working can go up to 14.4 down to 13.8 and then when batteries are fully charged voltage should be around 13.2 ish as depends on system and wiring used.

Whilst in our garage build in charger is on 247.
