Changing DRL's to LED Question (1 Viewer)

Is this posssible with the lights in situ? Seems to me that you need arms twice as long as mine with 2 elbows on each!!!
Or is it easier to remove the whole headlight unit?

It's much easier to remove the headlight unit. I have it off to a fine art now.(y)

The small grey grill above the unit is held in by 3 screws, remove that grill and you will see 3 bolts holding the light unit in, remove those and you can withdraw the unit with a bit of a 'wiggle' to get it out. First time you think it isn't going to come out but with a bit of patience it will. Changed by DRL's for led - unit doesn't warm up in daylight any more.

Don't overtighten the unit on refitting, that's what can cause them to shatter.

Many thanks, ordered the bulbs and had a little practice with the lights.
