Probably a daft question but the bulb has gone in my outside light (Bessacarr E765) - does the shade part just pull off? I don't want to go yanking stuff about adding another broken item to my long list

Do you mean the awning light. If its the long type with four bulbs in then it just pulls off. While its off replace the bulb(s) with LEDs, it'll give more light and flatten your battery less if you leave it on all night accidentally as I often do.:roflmto:

That'll be the one. I will attempt to remove the shade part again then - stepladders might be a good idea instead of hanging off the step :Eeek:
