At present theThetford N100, 3-way fridge, when on battery supply uses the engine battery (or will only run on this selection when the engine is running). Is it possible for it to run off the leisure battery, instead of gas or hook-up?
Any advice would be most welcome.

Well you could, but your batteries would be flat in very quick time. :Eeek:

if you tried that it would flatten the leisure battery in a few hours. thats why 12v only works with the engine running to supply the current needed:thumb:

If you are concerned about gas consumption, don't be. The fridge will use a relatively small amount of gas.

To qualify Grahams post, 8 weeks we left the fridge on.. At a guess I would say it used less than 1/8th of a bottle full !
