I think it depends on the dish
A dome only needs a coax which carries both the signal and the power for positioning

At least three oyster dishes here at Chester cannot get a signal

Have they been re-programmed since the frequency change implemented on 15 December?

There are instructions on how to do it on Jackson's Satellites web-site.

Any fully automatic system will consist of dish/dome and controller plus any interconnecting wiring (Most domes utilise the signal coax). So to change from one system to another will require the roof mounted unit and its in room controller to be changed. The receiver/TV unit can be used with any satellite system.
