Hi First timer on a Road trip back from Italy with my 21 year old daughter who has tastes past her years. Anybody know of or can recommend a site from where we can walk(!) to a Champagne Tasting house - preferably also near to a town or village. Many thanks

Fantastic day Brian DN1 asleep tired and emotional after visiting and tasting at Mercier and another house Camp Site Epernay fantastic and met some lovely people last night at Nancy and again in Epernay who gave us Camping newbies some great tips. Also have some Restaurant and Bar tips if you are visiting Epernay

since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
There is a nice municipal site at Sezanne with a free full size swimming pool( July & August).
Easy walk into town for champagne tasting, shopping etc. About 10€ a night.

The France Passion scheme is fantastic, you can stay on the smaller vineyards overnight and sample their produce, a lot cheaper than the big champagne houses too!
