Has anyone had any experience of these with a 2.2 140hp Ford Engine. We are doing our research before making our first purchase. As we live in France we are looking at LHD motorhomes. The Genesis 42 looks very good value for money.

Hi linanne09

Can't advise on the motorhome, but can vouch for the base chassis.

Had the earlier model 2.2 130hp for just over 2 years with no problems, toured Scotland 3 times, have now changed to 2.2 140hp and so far am happy with it, feel that it is better than previous version.

Hope this helps with your decision.

Since 2006
Challenger=Chausson just as Elddis=Compass, Bessacar=Swift.

Check out reviews of Chausson Flash 28, I think it's the same van.

We are a very satisfied owner of a Chausson, nothing bad to report.:Smile:
