On occassions when locking the habitation door with the key phob, the door locks but the power in the van is switches off.

It appear to make no difference whether the van is connected to the mains or not.

Anyone experience this type of fault before?

The van is a 2012 Bessacarr.

We just press the "lock all doors" button on the dash.

Sounds like your control unit is set to do that in the same way many UK vans turn the power off when you start the engine. A "safety" feature, Is there nothing in the handbook? It may be something in the settings.
