Does anyone know if there are any MH sites which have pedestrian access to the SPT network please?

Failing that, anywhere with regular and late bus access to and from the Center?

What region do you wish to stay in? Ayr caravan club site is near to train station straight to Glasgow ( only 10 minute walk from site)

Milngavie Train station 1ml

Review from UK Campsites.
There are five spacious hardstanding pitches set in a farm setting with some lovely countryside scenery to look at. The place is well kept, litter free and very clean.

The usual facilities are available, waste disposal, dishwashing, water, showers and toilets.

All the facilities were of a reasonable standard, but the toilets and showers were very good for a C. L.

It's the SECC we want to get to and from every day for about a week. Ayr being an hour away by train is a bit far.

Hi we have stayed at the cl in Milngavie nice little site at the back of the farm, you have to drive through the skip hire/farm yard to get to it but its fine, it can be a bit noisey if your a light sleeper as its under the flight path for Glasgow airport.

Not sure about the bus timetables but have you had a look at the new cc site at strathclyde park we stayed there when it was a council site cc took it over and spent a load of money on it last year.

There is also a nice looking site at Stepps haven't stayed there so can't comment, Craigendmuir caravan and camping site. And not to far from Stepps train station by the looks of it.

Also might be slightly further but have you thought of Balloch at the south of Loch Lomond nice site there Lomond woods about half a mile from the train station.

I was going to suggest the Balloch site, but Gerry beat me to it, 10 min walk to the station, frequent service into Glasgw and stops at the SECC, make sure you get the train that doesn't stop at every station into Glasgow !, bit further away as Gerry commented, but so much nicer to come home to,

Ballochs a nice little town with good eateries and good pubs too, also a Co-op supermarket all within easy walking distance,
