Not sure I see the point of using it. The Mac's Unix-based OS does a pretty good job of keeping itself optimised. Not something I shall be risking on my Mac.

I use CCleaner on my Windows machines but maintenance is neither needed or desirable on a Mac... that's one of the good things about them.. but kind of boring in a way .. :roflmto:

There are some useful tools , especially getting rid of unwanted items in the cache

It is amazing what creeps in ...

Hi Bob

while I said it is not really necessary, I do agree that stuff can creep in..

I did use a very good tool, called Oynx , it runs many of the built in Apple maintenance scripts.
It's more than just a cleaner, you can also tweak some of the hidden settings... something to play with ..

Important, When you click Download, select the version appropriate for whatever version of OS X you are running.
