Understand the Caravan Club tested leisure batteries a month or two ago and in the test a Varta battery came out on top with one other.

Do you have that test as looking for the model number for the Varta battery in that test please?

The report didn't list model numbers but said that of the batteries tested only two makes, Banner and Varta, complied with EN 50342. Exide also comply but they couldn't find any on sale in the UK so didn't test them.

So, I suppose the answer to your question is any model which complies with EN 50342.

Thanks

Was it a white/opaque case or a black case?

The Varta site doesn't give any indication re the EN 50342 for their batteries, none that I have found so far.
