That's a good rate, the Post Office is quoting 1.23 at the moment.

The dollar/euro exchange rate is getting the headlines at the moment but the pound/euro rate hasn't changed a great deal over the last 6 months. The graph on this page shows it has stayed within the range 1.24 to 1.28 since around June last year. It is currently at a high and might get higher but I wouldn't be surprised if jitters about the UK General Election result will impact on sterling's value.
