I have just purchased a Auto-trail Cheyenne 840SE 2007 and am trying to find out if I have a Cat 1 alarm fitted. I have in the paperwork a card giving instructions on on how to operate the system. I have checked the MH today and notice on the HAB door and 3 storage lockers there are contacts like you would have on doors to secure buildings... There is an LED on the front of the dashboard, but that may be factory fitted. I don't have separate remote to the main van key. Any ideas please. Thanks

now that really is far too vague a description to give a conclusive answer. even a make of an alarm system would help

Have a look at above:

"Firstly let me say the M99 range of alarms are probably the most reliable devices I have ever come across, I have never seen a faulty control unit unless badly installed or a fault caused by water damage or some other external condition, the sirens can give problems (see below) and the fobs wear out. Sure there not the most sophisticated units around but it does what it says on the box plus its a Thatcham approved device (Thatcham Cat 2 to 1 approval number TC2-1025/0898). "

Hope that helps :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:
