Has anyone used this site, It advertises large pitches , sauna , restaurant and Indoor Pool.
If so How was it for you?

Hi, not used the site, as it is only 5 or 6 miles from home, but it is quite close to the A30, a very busy, noisy road. Might be worth checking if there have been any reviews anywhere? (Uk campsites for instance). Facilities certainly look good.

A bit of flack there for a while 2 years ago or so. Tween the Owner and the Chef that had the lease of the Restaurant.
We had a meal there and it wasn't a happy place then.
BUT!
That was a while ago, and I think the whole thing has been sorted now, but as @HymerB544 said before, it's not far from the A30 and there is a lot traffic noise.

We used the site in our RV about four years ago and was very nice. Large pitches with all services and decking right outside your door. Swimming pool was good, at the time the restaurant was not open. Not sure about now.

I haven't been there but...
New owners since this spring.
Convenient location.
Worth checking that all the facilities are open during the dates that you want to be there.

I cycle out that way frequently and unless you really do want to visit the place in person would quite happily call in, ask your questions and take a few photos. Just let me know. Gary

We had a rally there one time, great location and I certainly don't remember any road noise. Facilities were great. It used to be owned by Itchy Feet RV's but they are long gone now.

Yes stayed at Carvynick for a week about 6yrs ago .Great site .on the right pitch the views are stunning .It was purpose built for RV,s a few years ago so the pitches are huge, all hard standing.Like Jim i dont remember any road noise.

Used Carvynick many times when we had the RV, It was the first dedicated

RV site in the country,massive pitches,twin hook ups,decking,picnic benches etc

and views across to Newquay to die for.The restaurant on site was run by

Kevin Viner. Unfortunately it all went wrong but

the years eve parties were legendary !!! We had a look around

about 12 months ago and it looked very tired and it was up for sale.

Now got new owners and if they've tidied the place up well worth a visit.

we stayed there last week for one night to meet a friend who fulltimes there.restaurant is open, theres some new shower blocks being built, no road noise.,great views and each pitch has leccy water and waste you can empty your cassette on your pitch!
