Really upset. My Carver water heater has packed up. It is only 16 years old and the electric side still works. They just don't make them to last anymore. Bugger!!

My brother's stopped working, we got another gas solenoid valve from a local scrapyard who breaks caravans for the aluminium. Any ideas as to the fault/ model numbers for yours ?

Thanks for the replies folks. I have a friend who builds horseboxes with habitation sections who is going to replace it for me. On this occasion the circuit board has burnt out. A few years ago a bloke up in Edinburgh repaired it when it packed up during our holiday. At 16, its done it's bit and time I bit the bullet and had a new one.

all the parts can be bought on ebay. even entire new burner units that fit the carver and its newer replacement.
