Carioca M/H step (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, have a bit of a problem regarding the height of the motorised step fitted to the 2002 Fiat 1.9TD based Carioca - my wife is a wee bit unsteady on her feet at times and we find that the step is far too high for her to use comfortably - I have tried one of those fold up steps which s just over 8 inches high making it like a double step but she is still not happy with it as the 8" step moved when she stepped on it coming out the M/H. I then bought a double step but again it is a bit low to get in/out comfortably - my next thought is to fit adjustable feet to raise the double. I have tried to find a higher double but they all seem pretty much standard at around 38cm to 40cm. Any alternative suggestions would be much appreciated, dru.

why not make one up or say get one of the cheper plactic one and cut to size

Thanks for reply 2bob - have tried the double folding plastic type - too low -spent enough money on various ideas -think I'll go for the adjustable feet extensions and try that, dru.
