Caravan club offer (1 Viewer)

Any body taking the Caravan Club offer. It's at the NEC. It's at the end of October, with 6amp ehu £30 a night and use your own facilities

Typical Caravan Club. They have been doing this for years and still call it an offer.
Do you think £30 per night with 6amp electric that keeps blowing is an offer?
It is another rip off. In the early years we could stay at the NEC for free then the so called health and safety kicked in, or should I say greed gallopped in. We also used to get free entry to the show for our £30 then they decided to charge as we were alredy there anyway.
The Caravan Club haven't got such a bulging bank balance of money and property today by giving us offers,

The twice we have been to shows at the NEC we have stayed at main CC sites - Warwick and Chapel Lane - and gone as day visitors. There are also C&CC sites, private sites and CLs/CSs around the area so nobody is forced to use the CC temporary site.

Having said that, there have been plenty of threads on various forums over the years about the cost of the temporary site and there have also been plenty of posts which give sufficient details of the expense involved to justify the costs.

As with any other facility, if we don't like it we don't have to buy it.

Seems a bit on the high side to us and only 6amp to bootoh:

£30 after paying to be a member no facilities and a piddling 6amp supply id stay at home and throw fivers on the fire

planning going to nec but will be staying at a CL which is 30 mins drive away, 16amp and £12.50 night, don't need burger vans and entertainment
