THEY SAY = there would be a high risk of vehicles getting stuck and that this would clearly affect members' experience of the event.

WELL IT NEVER AFFECTED US AT PETERBOROUGH AND NEVER STOPPED OUR FUN.

I stayed at Eastnor a little while ago. It was very tricky to find a spot that was levelish AND gave a good chance of getting off without assistance. I think really heavy vehicles would struggle and there is more rain forecast. A lot of the sites locally have limited their grass pitches following flooding.

In Wool they asked us not to park on the grass, we spent a night parked on the tarmac (on site) then with the front wheels just off the tarmac, I put those mat thingees under the wheels.

Forecast is rain, rain and more rain up to 1st week in June so far.:Sad:

This was going to be our first National Rally even though we joined twelve years ago. I am glad the decision has been made now three weeks before the event rather than waiting to see what the weather brings and then having to cancel three days before. At least now we can make alternative arrangements.
