Hi all

Has anyone hired a car from the UK to travel and tour France, for say
two weeks.
The alterative would be to get a cheap flight and hire at a airport.
Time around July.

Thanks vana

Why not go in your van, otherwise your second choice seems favourite to me get there quicker, flights probably less than the petrol to get there, less driving, no brainer really::bigsmile:

Hi Chaser

Thanks for the reply, the options and considerations are for a member of
my family.
I am going out at a different time with our motorhome and the family member will join us for a period of their holiday.
I was hoping someone had experience in either of hiring here and doing it that way or flying out and hiring from the airport.
Costs may be a issue.

Thanks vana

I did a fly-drive to Nice a few years back. Can't remember the details but struck me at the time as the cost efficient option. I guess a lot will depend on when you wish to go. My trip was off season and if my jaded memory serves me well car hire was £300 for 3 weeks.

Since before Motorhomefun
Book well in advance.......go to someone like skyscanner and put your destination in with a MONTHLY search as price then can be stunningly cheap........car hire will be cheaper at your destination.........
