    Good morning folks

We are looking to replace our current sun canopy for the van. Would like a simple (but good quality material) slide on to awning rail and 3 or 3 upright poles tensioned with guy lines. We inherited the one we have now but it's really too small for the van and our caravanning friends keep borrowing it!!

Any recommendations where I can get one, or get one made would be gratefully received. We need it to be 4.5 to 5 meters long, don't particularly want sides or supporting roof poles. Cannot go down the wind out awning route due to lack of £££££'s.

Have a look at a Batwing. They usually are made for overland/4x4 use and come in at around £200-400

I can't see why one big enough wouldn't work well with an a-class, or maybe they could make - or you get a similar design made.

Thanks but we want something about 4.5 to 5 metres to give us more shade. We looked at one of these last week and did consider it but decided to do more research to get something bigger.

We will be at Malvern so I guess there will be loads of sellers there.

any local tarpaulin manufacturer or tent repairer would make one for you. I have a couple of firms local to me and another i use in newport gwent, all are cheaper and better quality than the mass produced offerings.

Cheers for this info, never thought about the tailor made option, but it makes sense as we really want the simplist form of awning we can find.
