we finally got sorted with the bearings on the van and got our mot certificate and set off to lincoln. driving down the m42 between tamworth and burton our exhaust fell off
i hasten to add with all the luck of our car mot a few weeks back and then the episode with the van and its mot the situation is now laughable. it had rotted through and snapped just before the back box and was dragging along the road. we sat in the van for a few mins in silence and then after a phone call to friends pulled it off and bungee corded it to our bike rack. we then continued on our drive to lincoln with half an exhaust!!!! so if you saw a euramobil with a bling exhaust on its bike rack on route to lincoln or at lincoln that was us. we had a lovely weekend despite the weather and the music was great, nowwe are back home and the van is going in later today to start having an exhaust custom made as it would take too long to get one from germany and probably cost more!
