looking to buy mk 2 transit motorhome the question is will it bolt straight on to a a slightly newer model transit as i like motorhome but not the old look of the cab and do most bodies fit almost all makes of van providing same length thanks phil

Hi Philby
unfortunately no they are not all the same, even sticking to transits you are taking on more than you think
It will most certainly not be a case of unbolting and swapping over
there will be many many variables to think about, position of tanks,exhaust chassis mounting points and electrical items, not a job for the faint hearted
but if your brave enough ,Good luck and keep popping back with your problems and we will be happy to help
