campsites south of Peterborough please (1 Viewer)

Can anyone please recommend a non affiliated campsite south of Peterborough we can stop at for a couple nights before Peterborough show.

If Stratford upon Avon is any good to you on your way up, We stayed at monks barn Farm last week, brill £11 per night inc ehu. Cl site but with a rally field for non members, hard standing pitches, walk through field to pub, near the car free cycle path into statford.

Would highly recommend.

This one is always busy http://www.wytonlakes.com/ and very popular if you are a fisherman. Note the pub next door has burnt down (it was rubbish anyway) and the garden centre opposite is also pretty rubbish for scoff, but the pubs in Wyton village and the Barley Mow and King of the Belgians in Hartford are pretty good, and there is a nice walk from the site through Wyton/Houghton to the Hemingfords. The guided bus to Cambridge goes past the site and is well worth the trip. Huntingdon doesn't have much to offer.
