Hi

Wanted: Knowledge of camping suitable for 30+ft r-v + toad within 1Hour of Bilbao Ferry terminal.

I have located Camping Arrien (Gorlitz), and It seems OK. does anyone have first hand information on this site. MOST of the others in the locality seem to have access problems?

Hi Pete,

Don't know if approp to you but you can park overnight at the ferry terminal? A couple of years ago I was looking for sites near Bilbao prior to returning home but was told by fellow camper that everyone just piles up at terminal to await next days sailing. It was fine and in fact loads of us went off for Chinese meal together that eve.

Thanks. But we arrive 2 days before our sailing, so a camp site would be better.

OK I know you said one hour from Bilbao

These two are TWO hours away and suitable for RVs

Camping de Haro at Haro

Camping Navarette at Navarette Logrono ( one of our favourites )

both in the Caravan Club book ( I don't do GPS )

or a little bit further Fuentes Blancas at Burgos

ALL 3 sites easy access
