Campsites around Ronda Spain (1 Viewer)

An old mate has retired here and I fancy a visit. Can anyone recommend good campsites in the area please?

This is the only one i know to, never stayed there but it should be easy to google reviews.

We stayed in Camping El Sur which is an easy walk into the town in 2014 and it was fine. Great tapas at the bar too!

It's nice, but you'd need a bike to get into town, and it's uphill on the way back

Need a bike! done that walk lot's of times, and in the dark

Not for a few years though, don't think I could do it now.....old hips and all that!

Ronda is a different place in the evening when the tour buses have gone.

Decent site, good location but not cheap.

According to google maps it's 45 minute walk.
That's a lonnnnnnng walk where I come from - especially with Mrs C on my back

Never timed it but somewhat longer on the return journey......not just because of the hill, lots of good tapas bars in Ronda

Just be aware they know they are the only site close to Ronda so charge accordingly. You can get a good view of Ronda from the walk/ride back.

We stayed at Camping El Sur in February 2015, quite a lot of snow around at that time. I feel Ronda is quite walkable if reasonably fit. There are a couple if hills but it wouldn't be the same without them

You can stay in the car park at the railway station if you can get by for a couple of days. Parked there this year when a big festival was going on in the town fantastic couple of days.

Stayed at camping EL SUR some years ago, walked into Ronda but got a taxi back. If under the same ownership the meal we had in the restaurant was absolutely superb, friends mentioned it was our aniversary and we were treated like royalty, nothing was too much trouble for them. This was the middle of September.
