Campsite in Monmoth or Avon (1 Viewer)

We en route to Cornwall and have researched campsites there but will need to stop over at least once in East Wales or Severn estuary area to break the long journey. We're happy to go wild, camsite or (maybe best) nice pub-restaurant carpark that welcomes diners to stop over. We intend to do B&B also as our camper is small and we'll need to posh it up a small bit every 3 days or so as we're getting on a bit and we can put up with only so much hardship!
We'd welcome any and all advice.
