Camping mate (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if anyone can help me with a problem .I’ve been given a suitcase generator a Camping mate KGE 980TC ( I think made by Kippor) and frankly it’s like new and starts first time every time .
For the life of me I can’t find a copy of the manual on the internet anywhere so have absolutely no idea if it’s any use in the Motorhome for the emergency battery charging situation ( which I will try to avoid of course) Question are:-
Is it worth lugging around in the back of the van, will it charge my batteries via 240 EHU if needed ?
Will any harm come to my Sergent EC 325 charging unit using this unit ?
Roughly how long would this unit take to charge 2 X 110 Amp batts
Does anyone have one on the forum ?

Sorry, I can't help with the original manual. If you think it is a Kipor, try and find the equivalent Kipor gennie, and download a PDF for that.

You are a lucky, lucky beggar! I wish someone would give me a gennie!!

It will charge your batteries via the onboard charger via the EHU point, how fast will depend on your vans charger, I imagine it will be 20a plus.

Thanks all for the info much appreciated ... just tried it through my EHU and it works a treat ,charges at 12 Amps which will be great in an emergency - pretty quiet as well .
