If it's campsites specifically that you're after, there's a municipal at Saint-Martin de Re which is just inside the walls of the town. Some of the pitches are on the battlements. Good for while you're visiting that part of the island, though most bits are easily accessible by bike. It has the usual facilities.

The other campsite we've used has a MH only compound at the front with marked grassy pitches, a beach-type shower, EHU if required, a service point, and an hour's wi-fi included in the ticket cost. Very convenient for the beach too - that's Camping Amis de la Plage at Bois Plage en Re. Stopping in the MH area doesn't entitle you to use the other facilities on the site though.

We've also used the coastal aire at Saint Clement des Balleines, which is grassy but the beach there isn't anything special. There's a campsite next to that.

second vote for the municipal in St Martin - excellent market in town for fresh fish everyday - covered market for fish, veg, bread etc
