Any funster on the site in Haro northern Spain, Jan and me got off the ferry at Santander this afternoon and stopping here for a couple of nights, just to try the Rioja you understand....!

It's a busy site in my experience, quite a lot of Brits. The bodegas vary, some very expensive but when we there the camp shop sold an excellent pink Rioja which we bought a case of. Very nice and not expensive.

We are meant to be on the ferry to Santander tonight from Plymouth, had to reschedule because my dad is ill in hospital, can't wait until we make it, we were heading to San Vicente de la barquera for our fist stop, but I will google Haro, let us know if you like it.

Short uphill walk to the old part of the town with loads of bars and very good tapas
