Shocked today to be told a 907 camping gaz refill is now £34.99! The guy recommended I bought it abroad but I don't want to be left without as we use it for outside cooking! We are heading to Croatia via France Germany Austria Slovenia. Anyone bought camping gaz recently. Where and how much ish please? Any savings will go into the wine fund! Thanks .

20€ here. South Molton garage was £ 20-75 whereas all other local outlets were charging £31

Just a thought, I have seen in the Repsol garages small bottles about the same size as a 907. I bet they will be a lot cheaper than 907.

On a related note, we use a Gaslow cylinder but it struck me that if there was ever a problem with it we'd need a back up. I bought a Camping Gaz adapter simply because the ruddy cylinders appear to be on sale everywhere you go in Europe. I don't think you'd have any problem buying abroad if they're cheaper there.

I've got an adapter as well just for that reason. Camping Gaz is stupidly dear, but you can find them anywhere (at least in Western Europe). I thought Calor were OTT with their refill charges, but £35 is ridiculous. Or is that the complete thing, not just a refill?
