Maybe an old story but it shows that Campervan and motorhomes should be driven by people who respect them

this apparently was not the case here instead of stopping the idiot sped up

I wonder if it was the new owner who was driving? It says in the article that:

"Island Echo understands the vehicle was only sold by its previous owner at 18:00."

So either it was bought with fake money/bankers draft etc so the Police were trying to get it back, or was a genuine purchase and the new owner was a pillock, or it was nicked ... my money's on the 'pillock' version!

Will be interesting to hear the outcome!

I think your right! If just purchased it would not be taxed (almost certainly) and probably not insured which may explain why the driver panicked and attempted to speed away. Still a pillock though.

Perhaps the driver got away and when they knocked on his door he happened to have sold it at 1800 hrs that night ! (that would be a stroke of luck)
