Thanks in advance,

I am using the Ecocamel Jetstorm ordinary one, not the one for low pressure. Its very good and the air intake certainly gives a very good shower. Placing a finger over it reduces the flow to what would be a poor shower with little water coming out so it really does use less water that a standard shower head when giving a very decent shower. I am very happy with mine. Shop around and you can get them at sensible prices. Although they come with a hose included I think the standard price at £29.95 is a little expensive but they are worth it. Compared the Mira one at £55.00 they certainly are. Also Ecocamel have a no quibble returns policy so if you don't like it send it back for a refund.

I use the electric low bar systems one as recommended. If you have a 20 psi pump the flow will be rubbish without using the low pressure one

Should have mentioned the only difference is a small restrictor in the intake which turns the low pressure one, into a standard one it can be removed. I have tried both and I find it better without the restrictor. My pump is the usual Shurflo one.

I use the low pressure Eco Camel in the van and the higher pressure one with the electric shower at home
Both excellent !

Shurflo do a 20 and a 30 psi so what is usual to you is not necessarily the norm

If it is true that the low pressure is simply a high pressure with a reducer in it ? Then it would be a poor choice to buy a high pressure only to find it fails miserably! At least buy the low pressure so you have an option to remove it

I got an eco shower head and pipe and wall bracket from Aldi for less than £10 and it works a treat.

I don't know about, "if it's true" all I can tell you is that Eco camel advised me to simply remove the restictor when I first tried one of these at home and didn't have enough flow. Removing the restrictor cured the problem. This turning high pressure into a low pressure unit. I assure you that was their advice.

What does "upstairs for thinking mean please"

So is that the bit that pulls out? Presumably with long nose pliers?

Giving thought to (y)
You do of course have it the wrong way around. The high pressure has the restictor, the low pressure does not. If you have low water pressure the restictor is removed to allow a greater flow. One the other hand when you have high water pressure the restictor stays in ace to avoid too much water flowing through. As I said Ecocamel advised me, I took their advice and it worked fine.

Mine is an electric or low pressure as pictured. If you want to increase pressure due to a low pressure supply you reduce the diameter not increase it

Mine works perfectly and undoubtedly saves us water too.
That is the major feature of mixing water with air to create the impression of high volume and thus saving water.
We get a satisfying shower for 15 litres each at most
