sorry i meant to ask this on my previous post . does the fiat 2.8 engine as fitted in the hymers have a cambelt or is it chain driven ? cheers garry

hi, iveco use a chain on their 4x4 daily . causes lots of trouble breaks cams valves pistons chain tensioners . even messes the heads right up. some renault and another one ,forgot that one.
cog drive is best .

Belt...change, along with tensioner and idler pulley's, every 80,000ish or 4 / 5 years (whichever comes first) depending on year
