Morning all. We are due to collect our new MH on 1.5.14 (cannot wait).
We have been looking at buying bedding, and mattress protector etc. Any advice? It all seems a little expensive, and do thy fit well, etc. :thanks2:

Hi ......:welcomefunster:
I have never thought of looking at specialist bedding :whatthe: We just use normal bedding on our fixed bed, it stays in place pretty well . I have known peoples attach 1'' wide elastic on the corners of the sheet.
We alternate duvet's according to season. :thumb:
Hope this is of some use but above all enjoy your new M/Home.

Hee hee ! We have a 'French' bed in ours, you know, with one cut off corner? And just use normal double sheets and duvet, and have to tuck it well under, it's not too bad. but a bit fiddly.

Now - amongst Pete's first wife's 'souvenirs' there were a couple of bottom fitted sheets that drive me absolutely potty at home, because they are both very skimpy on one short edge, yet they are good fabric etc and I have never really fathomed why - but perhaps they were seconds? Anyway of course they come untucked on a regular basis so were relegated to the bottom of the pile, but one must have migrated to the top and has accidentally got on the bed at home when I changed it.

'For God's sake, pull that sheet straight at the bottom!' I said to him as we made it yesterday. He then said, 'Oooh - maybe we should put these in the motorhome?'

What a good idea! So I suggest you go forth and purchase seconds ! We haven't tried it yet mind you.

With the quilt because we are forever walking past the bed to get to various cupboards and the bathroom, we usually fold the quilt in half along its length and place it on top again until it's bedtime again - we also used to do this when we made the overcab bed in the previous van, you don't want it hanging down during the day, blocks the light.

Stretch jersey bottom sheets from Amazon . Perfect fit and easily washed and dried ! Also fold duvet during the day
