It isn't a matter of not having the guts. It's the fact that people who have Romany or Irish Traveller status have special rights under the RRAA & HRA, given to them by the Bliar. Those who claim such status falsely can't be acted against until it is shown that their claim is false.

    Fishing at night

    image.jpg

Apparently night fishing permits are being issued but not for motorhomes
Sorry the photo is such bad quality but it says permits can be obtained but not with vehicles over 1.9 metres

Could be a photo from many of the beaches in Spain or Portugal in the winter where the same type of people take the p there also and spoil it for others. The police in parts of Spain are also clamping down and have just issued a fine to a motorhomer for parking on a beach. Maybe the first of many.

I have stopped there for two days abut two years ago when I was there it was spotless no litter
so it seam's that the free loading tossers have arrived from Scarborough
but why not just make it pay a display then the problem will disappear as only genuine folks will want to stay and pay :thumb:

Andy strangeway has a fishing permit for overnight parking and it was just shown on the news that he has a fishing net that the kids use in ponds, no motorhome but a tent on the beach and a car,

Seems to me that Mr Srangeways is a barrack room lawyer who hasn't a clue what he is talking about. He says the height barriers are illegal. But if it's council land the council are entitled to install barriers if they wish
